NANPA Foundation Philip Hyde Conservation Grant Application

This $2,500 grant is awarded annually by the NANPA Foundation to an individual NANPA member who is actively pursuing completion of a peer-reviewed environmental project that is consistent with the missions of NANPA and the NANPA Foundation.

Applications for the Philip Hyde Conservation Grant are only accepted online. You can download a PDF which can be used to develop your application before completing the online application below. No mailed applications will be accepted. As a guideline, the application should be no more than 5,000 words.

NOTE: The online submission process does not allow an applicant to complete a part of the application, save his/her work, and return to complete the remainder of the application at a later date.     Project description and location. Please include a description of the project deliverables (books, brochures, exhibits, presentations, etc.) and the process for completion.

    Identify the environmental/conservation goals and objectives, the project collaborators and partners and the locations, subjects or issues involved.

    Describe the role of photography in the project: How will photography further the goals of the project and make an impact on your issue?

    How long has the project been underway?

    What has been accomplished on this project up to now? Include a description of the photography field work completed, any deliverables that have been produced, collaborative efforts to date and public relations and public visibility achieved.

    How does the applicant propose to use the grant money?

    How will you document and evaluate the project? Include a description of how you will personally evaluate the project and document progress/completion to the NANPA Foundation.

    What is the estimated completion date for the project?

    Please include a resume or CV outlining relevant experience of the applicant (doc, docx, pdf, txt, formats accepted; each file must be 2MB or less or application will not submit).

    Attach any additional information about the project that may be useful in evaluating the project. (doc, docx, pdf, txt, xls, xlsx, gif, png, jpg, jpeg, tif formats accepted; files must be under 2MB each or application will not submit).
